Have you ever felt stuck in painful emotions, uncertain about your relationships, or overwhelmed by life’s challenges? As a trauma-informed psychotherapist, Allison Zhou works with individuals and couples to help them make sense of their emotions, strengthen their relationships, and move toward a place of clarity and self-acceptance. She specializes in helping those who experience anxiety, depression, trauma, self-doubt, and relational challenges. Whether someone is feeling disconnected in their relationship, working through unresolved pain, or trying to understand themselves on a deeper level, Allison meets them with warmth and understanding. Using evidence-based therapies such as Dialectical Behavior Therapy, Emotion-Focused Therapy, Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and Imago Couples Therapy, she helps clients work through difficult emotions, build resilience, and develop healthier patterns in their relationships and daily lives. She has provided support to people in crisis, helped couples rebuild trust and communication, and worked with those carrying the weight of past trauma. No matter where someone is in their journey, she offers a space where they can be heard without judgment and supported in their healing. Therapy, to Allison, is more than just talking—it is about creating meaningful change. She believes in working collaboratively with her clients, helping them uncover their inner strengths and guiding them toward a life that feels more fulfilling and balanced.

All in-person appointments held at 692 Euclid Avenue, Toronto, M6G 2T9, Canada. We are in Toronto's Annex community near Spadina and Bloor. To cancel or reschedule, at a minimum please let us know 48 hours in advance. All appointments to be booked directly with care@canadiantherapy.com.
