Over the years, Sulaika has had a distinguished career as a Registered Social Worker with a focus on clinical counseling. She earned a Master of Social Work in University of Toronto, and has earned a Diploma on Accelerated Social Services.
She has contributed significantly to conducting psychosocial assessments from a client-centered viewpoint and crisis interventions in her capacity as a mental health practitioner. On a mission to offer a range of services and support to individuals, Sulaika developed action plans in the areas of life skills and daily living activities as she implemented teaching strategies to concentrate on skill acquisition and as well as reduce problematic and interfering behaviours.
Her passion to help individuals facing challenges can be traced back when she started to serve as a Community Engagement Volunteer for Canadian Cancer Society, Communications/Youth Programs Assistant for The Family Centre and as a Board of Governance Volunteer for Community Development Council.
